Five places to get your sausage roll fix in Dublin

Our favourite five sausage rolls in Dublin.

Sausage rolls are one of Ireland's favourite foods; you'll find them available in nearly every corner shop and café around the country. While we love the odd Centra sausage roll, we're far more fond of the more gourmet variety of sausage rolls in Dublin.

There are lots of places around the city that offer their own take on the humble sausage roll, but we think these five places serve up some of the best sausage rolls in Dublin. See our favourites below and let us know if you agree!

1. Love Supreme, Stoneybatter

This beloved Stoneybatter café serves up some of the best sausage rolls in Dublin, hands down. With a variety of flavours and flakey pastry, these sausage rolls are hand-baked daily in the cafés own mini bakery. Vegetarian sausage rolls are available alongside meaty favourites, making sure there's something available for everyone.

2. Legit Coffee Co, Meath Street and North Circular Road

Legit Coffee Co, which recently opened its second Dublin location, is well-known for its handmade sausage rolls. Offering a range of flavours, including lamb and apple, chorizo and brie and mozzarella, cranberry and spinach, Legit Coffee Co is renowned as having some of the best sausage rolls in Dublin. However, they're super popular, so make sure you get them before they're gone.

3. The Bakery by The Cupcake Bloke, South Circular Road

Everything at The Bakery by The Cupcake Bloke is delicious, but their sausage rolls are truly something to behold. The flavours change every Saturday and are usually announced on Instagram, so keep your eyes peeled to find out what's in store.

4. Honey Truffle, Pearse Street

Voted 'Best Café in Dublin 2018', Honey Truffle on Pearse Street is home to some superb sausage rolls. Handmade and packed with delicious flavours, these sausage rolls often sell out, so head down early to grab one.

5. Lolly and Cooks, Dublin

Lolly and Cooks, which has six locations around Dublin, is famous for its 'savage rolls', which are a take on the classic sausage roll. Also available vegetarian, they're so delicious that the cafés sell heaps of them every day. They've have created a total cult following among local eaters, so these are definitely some of the best sausage rolls in Dublin.
