It's the start of a new week which means it's time to figure out what to cook.

Our food cravings have inspired this list, based on recipes we've been posting on the site lately. The dishes below are ones we know we'll cook again and again, so try them out with us and let us know what you think.

Roasted aubergine with peanuts, chilli and lime

Finding all the washing up a little much lately? Us too, so we were excited to see that cookbook author Rukmini Iyer recently added The Roasting Tin Around the World to her collection of cookbooks. Packed with 75 recipes, these one-pot dishes are full of flavour and sure to cut down on the amount of cleaning you have to do every evening. We particularly like the spicy kick this aubergine dish, plus the peanuts add a delicious crunch. Try the recipe here

Marinated halloumi kebabs

The weather might not be great, but we're keeping summer alive by firing up the barbecue as often as possible. These kebabs are an easy, meat-free barbecue option that you can customise as you see fit. Not mad about peppers or onions? Sub them out for some aubergine, courgette or any other vegetable you'd prefer. Get the recipe here

Chocolate meringue gateau

Darina Allen's recipes are always delicious and this chocolate meringue gateau is no different. The recipe is completely foolproof, but to jazz up the flavour a little, we sometimes add orange zest to the cream and orange segments between layers for freshness. Alternatively, top with cherries to give the meringue a Black Forest feel. Get the recipe here

Surf and turf with roasted asparagus

Who doesn't love a good steak? This surf and turf recipe is surprisingly quick and easy to whip up, only requiring a few ingredients to create a delicious dish. If prawns aren't your favourite type of seafood, this dish would work really well with crab claws or scallops. Try it out here

Honey and lemon madeleines

Madeleines are a classic French bake with a unique shape thanks to the special tray they're cooked in. While we love how cute these honey and lemon bakes look, not everyone has - or can get their hands on - a madeleine tray right now, so you can cook these treats in a muffin tray instead.
