What to eat

What We're Cooking This Week

Everything we want to eat this week.

It's the start of a new week which means it's time to figure out what to cook.

Our food cravings have inspired this list, based on recipes we've been posting on the site lately. The five dishes below are ones we know we'll cook again and again, so try them out with us and let us know what you think!

Salmon Pasta

This recipe from Kish Fish head chef Richie Duff is so tasty and easy that we know we'll definitely make it again. Full of nutritious and sustainable salmon, this dish is perfect for an easy midweek meal. If you're looking for a different flavour, you could try making it with smoked and fresh trout. One-Pan Chicken Parmesan

Chicken Parmesan is a classic dish, but Donal's take on it is a little lighter than its American counterpart. Using courgette noodles instead of pasta, this dish if filling and really easy to pull together. Get the recipe here.

Cinnamon Swirl Wreath with Whiskey and Orange Icing

This cinnamon wreath recipe requires a bit of work, but it's well worth the effort. Full of flavour, this dish is great for a special brunch. To minimise your workload, prepare this wreath the night before you want to eat it and let it prove overnight. Try the recipe here

Eggs Benedict With Smoked Salmon

There is nothing more indulgent than hollandaise sauce, so we are obsessed with this recipe from Gareth Mullins of The Marker Hotel. Brunch is always made better by the addition of eggs Benedict, so we know we'll be whipping this dish up every weekend from now on. Try the recipe here

Our new series, Eating For Samhain, looks at all of the amazing Irish flavours we associate with this time of year. In the first part of the series, we spoke about colcannon, the classic Irish potato dish, and ever since, we have been craving this comfort food. Check out our ultimate recipe here to try it for yourself.
