What We're Cooking This Week

Five gorgeous recipes to get you through the week.

It's the start of a new week which means it's time to figure out what to cook.

Our food cravings have inspired this list, based on recipes we've been posting on the site lately. The five dishes below are ones we know we'll cook again and again, so try them out with us and let us know what you think!

Blathnaid's Carrot, Cabbage And Hazelnut Salad

We looked at cabbage in our latest seasonal ingredient guide and ever since, we've been thinking about this gorgeous recipe from Blathnaid Bergin. While the cold weather might put you off salads, this one is too good to relegate to spring and summer only. Pair it with some freshly roasted chicken and sweet potatoes for a filling, healthy and warming meal. Try it out here.

Spiced Sweet Potato Fries With Honey And Seaweed Mayo

These sweet potato fries are total comfort food with an Irish twist, thanks to the seaweed mayo. Whether it's for a late-night snack or as part of a larger meal, these fries have never let us down, so we're definitely adding them to our meal plan this week. Get the recipe here

Agnolotti Of Ricotta With Artichoke And Cep Butter

Pasta is another of our favourite foods; we just can't resist it. This recipe from Forest Avenue is surprisingly easy to make, but looks very elaborate and impressive, so whip it out when you're trying to showcase your culinary skills. Try the recipe here

Salted Caramel Cookies

These cookies are always a winner when we bake them and we really think you'll enjoy them too. You can adjust the salt to suit your preferences or leave it out completely if you prefer a sweeter cookie – we love the hit of salt, so we always make sure to add in a good pinch of sea salt. Sticky Toffee Pudding

Kevin Dundon's recipes are always foolproof, so we think this sticky toffee pudding will end up as a regular in your house. There is something so wonderfully warming about this recipe that makes us crave it on cold days like today, so try it out here
