What We're Cooking This Week

Five delicious dishes to cook this week.

It's the start of a new week which means it's time to figure out what to cook.

Our food cravings have inspired this list, based on recipes we've been posting on the site lately. The five dishes below are ones we know we'll cook again and again, so try them out with us and let us know what you think!

White Onion Soup

In case you haven't looked out the window today, we're here to tell you that November has brought some seriously miserable weather with it. The temperature has dropped, the rain is heavy and all we want is serious comfort food. Thankfully, this Avoca soup recipe is perfect for this time of year and absolutely full of flavour. Lemon-Garlic Roasted Chicken With Lemon And Thyme Stuffing And Madeira Jus

Another comforting recipe, this roast chicken from Burren Dinners is super easy to reproduce. We love the strong lemon, garlic and thyme flavours, which add some zing to this classic dish. Get the recipe here

Tuna Tartare

Le Cordon Bleu London shared this recipe with us and we are now obsessed. Tartare is a really fresh way to enjoy seafood and this recipe includes a serious punch of citrus flavour. This dish is perfect for sharing and would work really well as a starter at a dinner party. Get the recipe here

Lemon Tart

This week's recipes all seem to have a slight citrus theme and this one is no different. This recipe from Killruddery House and Gardens in Wicklow is delicious at any time of year and we particularly like to make it as one large tart, instead of four smaller ones, as it is the perfect centrepiece. Try it out here.

Meatballs, Chorizo And Chickpea Stew

This one-pot wonder from JP McMahon is exactly what we need in order to cope with this miserable weather. It's very easy to throw together, so we think it will be a major part of our weekly rotation. Get the recipe here
