It's the start of a new week which means it's time to figure out what to cook.
Our food cravings have inspired this list, based on recipes we've been posting on the site lately. The five dishes below are ones we know we'll cook again and again, so try them out with us and let us know what you think!
Chicken tikka biryani
Kinara Kitchen is one of our favourite places to eat and this tikka biryani is a great example of why. This recipe is total comfort food and is really easy to make, so it's always a winner when we try it. Sub in lamb for the chicken for an exciting flavour combination. Get the recipe here.
Easy hollandaise sauce
We're big fans of eggs benedict here at FW HQ, so hollandaise sauce is basically a staple for us. If you're not a fan of eggs, we love to drizzle this over asparagus and fish, especially salmon. For a variation on the classic recipe, try whisking in a teaspoon of wholegrain mustard or some smoked paprika. Get the recipe here.
Tempura prawn bap
This fakeaway combines the best parts of a chipper with your own culinary skills, resulting in a delicious crunchy sandwich. The batter is super crunchy and works well with lots of different foods, especially chicken, fish and vegetables. Serve up this bap with chips and extra gribiche sauce for the ultimate treat meal. Get the recipe here.
Move over cauliflower, because in case you didn't know, 2020 is the year of squash. We're all for adding extra fruit or vegetables to our food to try and up our five-a-day intake, so these pumpkin brownies are a great way to get the best of both worlds. Roast some squash, mash it up and add to this brownie recipe for the perfect healthy treat. Try the recipe here.
Chipotle chicken wings
Gareth Mullins from The Marker Hotel knows a thing or two about flavour, as this chicken wing recipe can easily attest. You might think that making restaurant-quality chicken wings at home is an unattainable task, but this recipe is so simple to replicate and packs a serious punch of flavour. Try it out here.
