SHARE

It's the start of a new week – and almost the start of a new year – so it's time to figure out what to cook.

Our food cravings have inspired this list, based on recipes we've been posting on the site lately. The five dishes below are ones we know we'll cook again and again, so try them out with us and let us know what you think!

Chicken satay with spicy peanut butter sauce

New Year's Eve is tomorrow, so if you're hosting an end-of-year get-together, these satay skewers are the ultimate crowd-pleaser. While this dish calls for chicken, this recipe would easily work with beef, tofu or an assortment of vegetables. Try it out here

Chicken, chorizo and cranberry rolls

Keeping with the party theme, we think we'll have to whip up a batch of these pastry rolls today or tomorrow. Puff pastry might seem intimidating, but this recipe will have you baking like a pro in no time. While delicious hot, these delicious bites can be enjoyed hot or cold, making them the perfect make-ahead party canapé. Click here for the recipe.

Non-alcoholic mulled wine

Our last party-themed recipe of the week has to be this non-alcoholic mulled wine. While a lot of people like to indulge in a couple of adult beverages during the Christmas and New Year's Eve period, this recipe is perfect for those avoiding alcohol during silly season. Full of festive flavours and surprisingly refreshing, this cocktail will please everyone at your party. Get the recipe here.
