It's the start of a new week which means it's time to figure out what to cook.
Our food cravings have inspired this list, based on recipes we've been posting on the site lately. The dishes below are ones we know we'll cook again and again, so try them out with us and let us know what you think.
Wild garlic pesto
Wild garlic season is almost over, so it's best to make the most of it while you can. We absolutely love wild garlic pesto as it's a simple and versatile recipe: use whatever oil and nuts or seeds you have on hand and it will always taste amazing. If you want to avoid food was, we recommend throwing in a little bit of whatever you have in your fridge - you'll often find a handful of spinach, basil and spring onions in our mix. Get the recipe here.
Chocolate chip cookies
Everyone on Instagram seems to be baking cookies lately - the banana bread craze is on hiatus - so if you want to whip up your own, we have a range of recipes and guides available, including tips for perfecting these delicious treats. This chocolate chip cookie recipe is one of our absolute favourites and we think you need to try it ASAP.
Aubergine, coconut and peanut curry
The new normal of this pandemic has started to settle around us so we're returning to our old habits of meal prep. This is an ideal recipe to prep ahead of time and packs a serious serving of veggies, so you can enjoy a healthy dinner before indulging in the cookies from above. Get this curry recipe here.
Chargrilled chicken caesar salad
Now that the weather is starting to warm up a little, we've begun to crave salad, especially this flavourful caesar salad. We love to prep extra croutons and use them as a topping for soup - try adding garlic and mixed herbs when cooking the bread for extra flavour. Get the recipe here.
Darina Allen's lemon tart
There's nothing better than a classic recipe and this is one of the best. Darina Allen shared this foolproof family recipe with us last year and we haven't been able to get enough of it since. The candied lemon topping is so delicious that you might need to make extra to snack on. Try it out here.
