Roast chicken with stem broccoli
Cooking the perfect roast chicken is guaranteed to boost your culinary ego and you really can't go wrong with this recipe from Rob Krawczyk. The best part about roasting the whole bird is that you'll easily get more than one meal out of it, which will take a bit of pressure off you throughout the week. For some inspiration on how to get the most out of a whole chicken, check out our guide here, and don't forget to try out Rob's recipe while you're at it.
Vegan sausage rolls
Roz Purcell's latest cookbook was just released and we can't get enough of the simple, flavourful vegan recipes – check out some of her recipes here. Now that vegan sausage rolls are popping up in stores all over the country, you might be tempted to try them out, but we can tell you that the homemade variety is much better. Irish stout beef brisket buns
Beef brisket might sound like an ordeal to cook, but this recipe from Ethna Reynolds takes all the hassle out of the process. Similar to Rob Krawczyk's chicken, you should get a few meals out of this brisket recipe and the buns are so easy to whip up. However, if you don't fancy repeating the buns, try the brisket with some mashed potato and roasted veg for a twist on the classic Sunday lunch. Get the recipe here.
