Traditional Fish And Chip Supper At Hooked On The Sea Festival
Sunday, June 2nd at Hook Lighthouse, Wexford. Tickets €35 per person.
This weekend will see Hook Lighthouse in Wexford hosting a whole host of marine-themed events, including naming a pirate ship, Hook Lighthouse BBQ and more. We're most excited about the Traditional Fish and Chip Supper event, which is taking place on Sunday evening. Guests will be guided through a tour of the 800-year-old lighthouse, before enjoying a supper of chips and locally caught fresh fish in beer batter, plus a drinks reception with local craft beers and wines. Aldi Launches Gin Event
Just in time for the bank holiday weekend, Aldi has launched its popular gin event across all 137 stores nationwide. There are a range of different gins on offer, including Boyle's Irish Gin Tasting Set, Copeland Raspberry and Mint Gin, and Pink Gin Gift Pack, so there's sure to be something to suit everyone's tastebuds. Bloom In The Park, Phoenix Park Dublin
30th May–3rd June, two-day tickets cost €16 per person.
Bloom In The Park, Ireland's largest garden festival, looks set to showcase a range of the country's top food and beverage producers this weekend. With Ballymaloe Foods, Bretzel Bakery, The Foods of Athenry and more all set to be at Bloom this weekend, it sounds like the festival is one not to be missed. More info here.

Old Post Office Now Open In Blackrock, Dublin
The Old Post Office on Blackrock Main Street recently underwent a massive €1.6 million refurbishment to turn it into a modern restaurant that has only just opened its doors to the public. New Menu At Portmarnock Hotel & Golf Links
Portmarnock Hotel & Golf Links recently introduced a new table d’hôte menu at their premium restaurant The Seaview. Executive Chef Tomas Haughton, who has over 25 years experience, has highlighted Irish produce in the new menu, including Lambay crab, Irish oak-smoked salmon and more.
