Adare Manor is celebrating its first birthday after reopening for renovationsAdare Manor

It’s the first week of December and our diaries are jam-packed!

We want to help you hear about the best things happening around the country so we’ve rounded up three things we think you should definitely take a look at.

Gone to the Dogs at Merrow

Dog lovers, get ready! The Merrow restaurant, which is located on the bottom floor of the Pálás cinema in Galway, will hold a dog-friendly brunch this Saturday, December 8th. The brunch is being held in aid of Madra Dog Rescue, a charity which finds new homes for unwanted, neglected, abused and abandoned dogs.

As if we needed another reason to attend, not only will there be a delicious brunch menu available, courtesy of Merrow chef Liga Jarovoja, there will be a dog-friendly menu on offer too! While you’re tucking into your pancakes or granola, you can treat your dog to bone marrow and vegetable risotto or a granola bark (get it?).

Tickets cost just €20 per person (your furry friend goes free) and they can be booked online here. Happy brunching!

Dillinger’s in Ranelagh Launches New Brunch and Dinner Menus

Dillinger’s, a local favourite in Ranelagh, recently launched its new brunch and dinner menus. Keeping with the restaurant’s American-influenced style, the new menus from chef Kinsley Auguste are packed full of flavour.

The brunch menu looks to be a total winner, with new additions featuring deluxe scrambled eggs, feta and sweetcorn fritters and French toast crumpets with either crispy bacon or caramelised banana. If brunch isn’t your thing, the new dinner menu includes an early bird offering for just €22 for two courses. Add to that one of Dillinger’s famous cocktails and you’re in for a fantastic night. Uno Mas Opens on Aungier Street

Uno Mas, the highly-anticipated sister restaurant of Etto, finally opened to the public last week. With its Spanish-inspired menu from chef Paul McNamara and accessible, mostly Spanish wine list, Uno Mas looks set to be one of the coolest new spots of the year.

The team hope to change the menu regularly to highlight different Spanish dishes, including croquetas, jamón and traditional tortilla. Even though the restaurant only opened on Friday, we would recommend booking ASAP if you want to get in this side of Christmas as Uno Mas looks set to be a big hit.

Follow Uno Mas on Instagram to keep up with what they've got going on.
