Tullamore D.E.W.'s Tiny Theatre
Thursday, 27th February at Toners Pub, Dublin
Inspired by the intimate conversations that take place in traditional pubs, Tullamore D.E.W. has devised a series of short plays that will take place in a whiskey barrel theatre at Toners in Dublin.
In collaboration with Dan Colley, formally of Collapsing Horse Theatre Company, humour and conversation will form the basis of each act of the plays, while audiences will also participate in mini-performances. Tickets include two drinks per person and can be purchased here.
Gin pancakes at The Front Door Pub, Galway
Tomorrow is Pancake Tuesday and if you're not planning to whip some up yourself at home, Galway pub The Front Door will be cooking up gin and tonic pancakes from 12pm. The fluffy pancakes are served with a Beefeater Pink Gin-infused wild berry compote and strawberry cream.
Free pancakes at The Stella Diner, Rathmines
Following on with the pancake theme, The Stella Diner in Rathmines will be running its second annual free pancake giveaway from 8am-6pm tomorrow. No purchase is necessary and there will be a toppings bar available for you to customise your feast.
Free crêpes at Gino's Gelato countrywide
Our third pancake report of the week is to do with Gino's Gelato, which has outlets around the country. From 12pm tomorrow, all stores will be offering free crêpes with lemon and sugar. Arrive early to avoid disappointment!
New vegan afternoon tea at Intercontinental Dublin
Known for its fabulous afternoon tea options, five-star Intercontinental Hotel in Dublin 4 has announced a new vegan afternoon tea offering. Including finger sandwiches with cucumber, quinoa, hummus, hazelnuts, pulled BBQ oyster mushrooms and more, scones and sweet treats like vegan cheesecake, peanut butter fudge and vegan chocolate ganache.
