This August, Hop House 13 lager will host Neighbourhoods on Fade Street to celebrate the street's creative communities.

On Sunday, August 11th Hop House 13 will host a day-long celebration to honour the creative communities around Dublin's Fade Street. Created by brewer Peter Simpson, Hop House 13 celebrates his persistence and creativity, which are traits shared with the craft and creative neighbourhoods around the country.

To celebrate these communities, Neighbourhoods will play host to a series of free, unique events curated by local artists, musicians, chefs, business owners and publicans. The bespoke experiences will showcase the talents of local creators, highlighting just how special the area is. Fade Street will be closed to the public to allow for the celebration to take place.

On the day, there will be plenty of experiences for visitors to enjoy, including music from Telephones and Tiny Choons DJs, an exhibition by the Art of Ping Pong at Hen’s Teeth and an on-street record fair from The R.A.G.E record and game store. There will also be heaps of food and drinks options from local pubs and restaurants like Hogan’s, L’Gueuleton, No Name Bar, Fade Street Social, IdleWild and The Market Bar, as well as a Chinese cooking demo by chef Kwangi Chan of Bowls and a delicious menu of food will be served by Chinese barbecue specialists DUCK

Speaking about the celebration, brewer Peter Simpson spoke about how inspiring the creative community in this area is.

"Hop House 13 was born from experimentation and creativity. At James’ Gate, we are given the freedom to try new things. From experimenting with a multitude of different flavours, we finally landed on the distinctive Hop House 13 lager. Creativity is key in brewing so supporting similar communities who strive to make great things makes sense. We’re looking forward to celebrating with the Fade Street community in August.’

The one-day Neighbourhoods celebration will take place on Sunday, August 11th on Fade Street from noon until 11 pm. Events and experience are free to attend, with the full line-up set to be announced soon. For more information, click here.
