Michelin-starred Ichigo Ichie in Cork is set to host an exclusive sake event on Tuesday, February 4th.
Ichigo Ichie, Takashi Miyazaki's Japanese fine-dining restaurant, is set to host a once-off sake event next month. Introduced by sake supplier Yuichi Hashimoto of JFC UK Ltd, the night will see guests indulge in a full kaiseki menu paired with six different sakes, including mellow Hakkai san, Tokubetsu Honjozo to bright and crisp Gokugetsu, Junmai Daiginjo. Masu and barrel-aged Choryo Yoshino, Suginotaruzake will also be available, paired with Takashi's intelligent Japanese-Irish cuisine.
Back in September, Takashi and Ichigo Ichie both came home with a slew of new titles at the 2019 FOOD AND WINE Awards. Takashi was named Best Chef Munster, while Ichigo Ichie was named Best Restaurant Munster and commended in the Best Restaurant Ireland category, so we can guarantee that you'll enjoy a delicious meal while you're there!
