Frenchwoman Héloïse Brion decided to leave a 15-year career in fashion to follow her true love: cooking.
She set up Miss Maggie’s Kitchen, a lifestyle website that blends classic French cooking with a modern twist. Simple, tasty recipes sit alongside tips (and plenty of inspiration) for stylish tablescaping ideas. It's the relaxed French foodie lifestyle of your dreams!
Following the success of the website, Héloïse published a cookbook under the same name. Miss Maggie’s Kitchen: Relaxed French Entertaining (Flammarion) is available now and contains close to 100 recipes covering everything from cocktails and desserts to family favourites. They include avocado toast with thyme and white truffle oil, sea bream tartare with mango, baked chicken and peaches and decadent pecan cake.
Here are three recipes from the book you can try out at home.
