- 30g porridge oats
- 150ml light milk (1% Fat)
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon (optional)
- 1 tbsp chopped pecans or walnuts
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tsp flaxseed (optional)
- Place the oats in a saucepan with the milk and place on the hob over a medium heat.
- Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally with a wooden spoon until thick and creamy.
- Stir in the cinnamon, if using.
- Transfer to a bowl and sprinkle over the nuts, then drizzle with the honey and scatter over the flax seeds, if using to serve.
