- 900g potato, cut into chunks
- 50g butter
- 100ml buttermilk
- 2 tbsp chopped mixed herb (parsley, dill, chives) - optional
- Boil the potatoes in large pan of salted water, with the lid on, for 15-20 mins until soft.
- Drain well, return to the pan, and mash until smooth.
- Add the butter and Avonmore Buttermilk and gently heat until the butter has melted. Combine until smooth.
- Add the chopped herbs and season with salt and pepper.
