Yield: Makes 15 Servings, 1 Large Jar


  • 1 small tin anchovies, 8-10 pieces
  • 1 regular packet of rocket
  • 2 teaspoons cumin powder
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1 lemon, juice only
  • 100ml extra virgin olive oil
  • 3-5 mixed medium chillies, deseeded
  • 1 red pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 yellow pepper, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed


  1. Give all ingredients a jolly good whizz in your food processor, but not with a hand-
    held blender. A blender will puree this mojo into baby food whereas we still want it
    chunky, so a food processer is best.
  2. That’s all there is to it. This will keep for two weeks in the fridge or it freezes well.

TIP: Stunning with eggs, hummus, lamb, white fish or simply serve with some decent
tortilla chips.
