The Rioja Wine Festival by WineOnline.ie will take place at Printworks @ The Morrison Hotel, Ormond Quay Lower, Dublin on Saturday October 22. And we have two pairs of tickets to give away.
Over 80 wines from across the regions of Rioja will be showcased on the day and the wine masterclasses will be run over two sessions in order to maximise interaction and the opportunity for ticket holders to taste as many wines as possible.
Sessions will run from 2pm-5pm and 6pm–9pm and John Wilson, Irish Times wine columnist will host two masterclasses per session. After 15 years buying and selling at all levels of the wine trade, John eventually embarked on a career in wine journalism in 2001.
He will present eight very different wines, taking you on a tour of the region and some of the best wines he has found during his many trips there. Expect to learn about recent changes in the Rioja region, as well as the introduction of the Vinedos Singulares classification, which will allow winemakers to label their wines with their individual vineyard.
There are two masterclasses per session with just 30 seats available for each:
Session 1: 2.30pm, 4pm
Session 2: 6.30pm, 8pm
If you purchase a Premium Masterclass Ticket, you will be asked to select your masterclass time upon check in at the event.
