The Grayson launches a rosé-inspired afternoon tea

Tiny cakes and a glass of rosé? We're in!

The Grayson on St Stephen’s Green may have hit on a winning pairing - teaming afternoon tea with all things rosé.

The new pink-hued tea is available every Saturday and Sunday from 1pm – 5pm and features an array of sweet and savoury bites and a drinks menu offering rosé wines and cocktails made with Belsazar Rosé Wine Aperitif (a blend of pink grapefruit, Seville orange and orange blossom with a raspberry and redcurrant finish).

The seasonal menu features an amuse-bouche, which will change daily, and sandwiches such as rare roast beef, Irish smoked salmon, and lemon crème fraiche and dill leaf, along with a  selection of savoury quiches. There’s also a range of pastries and desserts, made daily in the bakery at sister business Dollard & Co, including scones with fruit preserves and clotted cream, white chocolate elderflower tart and a classic lemon meringue. There's also the clever mini afternoon tea option for children. Priced at €17 per child it includes a selection of mini sliders, mini sandwiches and a mini ice cream sundae.

The Grayson’s afternoon tea is €48 per person but there is a special offer on until the end of the September, with a complimentary Belsazar cocktail on arrival, and homemade pink raspberry macaroons to take away.
