Sheen Falls Lodge Head Chef, Cormac McCreary is sharing his kitchen with two renowned chefs this spring.
Chef Paul McDonald of Bastion, Kinsale and Chef Ahmet Dede fomerly Head Chef of Mews Restaurant, Baltimore will be collaborating with Cormac in The Falls Restaurant for two evenings that promise to showcase the best of Irish cooking.
Bastion, which was awarded a Michelin star for 2020, is known for its contemporary Irish food and focus on local produce. On February 23rd Bastion head chef Paul will team up with Cormac to present a six-course tasting menu with wines.
On March 29th Paul will collaborate with Amet Dede formerly of Dublin Michelin star restaurants The Green House and Chapter One and West Cork's Mews Restaurant. Amet focuses on organically supplied produce from West Cork and he and Paul will also be creating a six-course tasting menu for guests.
Each of the tasting menus is €120, or there is also a package available which includes the dinner plus a stay in a classic room and full Irish breakfast the following morning for €420.
