Roe & Co reopens with a pop up cocktail garden

Niall Sabongi's food truck The Salty Buoy will be there serving great seafood too

Dublin’s Roe & Co distillery has opened its doors for the first time since March and there’s plenty going on for the rest of the summer.

One of the biggest additions is the immersive, pop up Cocktail Village. Catching the end of the summer months, the village - created with upcycled shipping container pods - will host everything from mini-cocktail masterclasses to whiskey tastings in, hopefully, the sunshine.

Roe & Co has also teamed up with The Seafood Café’s Niall Sabongi (above) who will be bringing his food truck The Salty Buoy, to the cocktail village on Thursdays and Fridays from 4:30pm – 9pm. Priced at €20 per person, it will be serving up the best seafood dishes including lobster rolls, grilled prawns and hake Kiev!

The Power House Bar is also back in action, serving up cocktails named after former workers of the Old Guinness Power Station, which is now home to the distillery. And if you became a dab hand at making cocktails during the lockdown, you can build on those skills with the Cocktail Workshop Experience. Priced at €19.50 per person, each class can fit up to six people and you’ll learn all about the five key pillars of flavour while crafting your own cocktail.

For the moment, guests are to book online in advance as, to ensure safety, Roe & Co they will not be able to accept walk-ups. You can book here.
