Today is the day that Eatyard fans have been waiting for since it closed up shop on Richmond Street last month: the new location on the Northside is set to open its doors today!
Earlier this year, the whole city was up in arms when it was announced that The Bernard Shaw and Eatyard on South Richmond Street were being forced to close due to a lease agreement. While we all mourned the loss of one of the city centre's true gems, the Bodytonic team were quietly working away in the background to ensure that we wouldn't fully lose Eatyard and The Bernard Shaw.
It was announced that the new Bernard Shaw and Eatyard will be opening up at Crossguns Bridge, beside the Royal Canal on the Phibsborough/Glasnevin border, on November 15th. Open from 4pm today, the new Eatyard will be showcasing great food and drink all weekend.

Vegan bakery, and former Eatyard stallholder, Buttercream Dream will make its triumphant return to the new marketplace, joining new additions like Cork's My Goodness, which are known for their raw, vegan, fermented food.
Vegans will be in good company at the new Eatyard because as well as the former, The Saucy Cow, which is known for its vegan comfort food, will be on-site when the new location opens. La Cocina Cuevas, which serves up Californian-inspired Mexican tacos, will also be joining the line-up.
While we were sad to lose the original Eatyard and Bernard Shaw, it looks like this new version will be just as good – if not better. It's sure to be a really exciting time for the venture, so we can't wait to see what happens over the next few months.
