Nespresso And The Marker Hotel Team Up For Le Drunch This September

Nespresso is back at the popular brunch experience for another year.

This September, The Marker Hotel and Nespresso will team up to present Le Drunch, one of the capital's most exciting brunch experiences.

Le Drunch takes over The Brasserie at The Marker Hotel every Sunday and, during the month of September, Nespresso has come back on board to help make the occasion one to remember. Executive chef Gareth Mullins has created a special menu that's sure to wow guests, including buttermilk fried chicken and waffles with honey and dill, BBQ monkfish and prawn skewers, chocolate mousse with a chocolate éclair and more.

Speaking about Le Drunch, Gareth said he was delighted to partner with Nespresso again.

"We had a great response to the ‘Le Drunch’ last year and are delighted to collaborate with Nespresso again. This year’s menu reflects the laid back and fun atmosphere of the ‘Le Drunch’ and I think it will be a great success again. The selection of Nespresso coffees works well with the menu.”

To complement Gareth's menu, Nespresso has paired three of their delicious coffees with Le Drunch's dessert offering. Guests will be presented with a choice of a latte, cappuccino, or macchiato using the carefully selected Nespresso Espresso Leggero, Nespresso Lungo Forte and Nespresso Espresso Origin Brazil.

Nespresso has also created a delicious cocktail to accompany called Le Drunch. The Origin Horchatta Cocktail features Nespresso Espresso Origin Brazil, gold rum, vanilla, oat, almond and spices to create a deliciously indulgent drink.

Speaking about the events, Guillaume Chesneau, managing director for Nespresso UK and Ireland told us that The Marker Hotel and Nespresso are the perfect partners.

“Nespresso is the perfect accompaniment to The Marker ‘Le Drunch’ experience, offering guests a selection of coffees to suit each personal preference. The extensive flavours and aromas of the Nespresso coffee range compliment the complex tastes of fine dining cuisine and the coffees chosen for this special menu will ensure a delicious ending to this dining experience.”

To round out the experience, DJs Tara Stewart and Sally Cinnamon will be onsite during Le Drunch to provide the perfect chilled out soundtrack throughout the day.

Le Drunch in collaboration with Nespresso takes place on Sunday 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th of September from 2-4pm. Tickets cost €35 per person and the Nespresso Horchatta Cocktail is €10. To book a table, email [email protected] or phone 016875104.
