Dublin’s Manifesto Restaurant has earned one of the coveted spots in the Top 50 Pizza Awards, making it the only Irish restaurant to do so.

It was listed 35th in the highly competitive awards, which are judged on a combination of pizza (of course) along with customer service, ambiance and wine list. The judging process involves over 150 inspectors visiting venues, followed by an anonymous visit and, finally, a declaration following the review.

Commenting on the accolade, Manifesto  owner and chef Lucio Paduano said, “At Manifesto we work so hard, using premium ingredients in all our pizzas and being Italian, authenticity is at the heart of everything we do. This listing, recognises our hard work and effort and myself and the whole team are extremely grateful.”

The Top 50 Pizza Award is not the first award the Rathmine’s venue has received: it bagged a gold medal for World’s Best Pizza (2006, 2010) and Ireland’s Best Pizza (2011) at the World Pizza Championships.
