Its deli and takeaway service were available throughout COVID-19 lockdown but now Baker Boys is fully back in business.
The café has an updated layout, a new chef and the menu has had a refresh too. “It’s such a positive boost for us and for Sligo to be able to reopen safely,” says co-owner Jane Lambert. “We’ve had to constantly adapt our business model over the past few months and we can’t wait to get our customers back in the door. We have a private car park, outdoor seating, high ceilings and a ton of space so everyone including our staff can feel safe, comfortable and relaxed.”

The new menu features the famed Baker Boys’ mac 'n' cheese, as well as sourdough crumpet with pork and leek sausage, French toast, vegetarian lasagna, and Atlantic seafood chowder. The café has a dedicated bakery on-site and bakes five types of bread every morning, along with sourdough croissants, scones and more with vegan options available too.
Local suppliers are a key focus and salads feature leaves and veg from Carrowgarry Farm while coffee comes from McCabe's Coffee.
Sit in service is available Wednesday - Friday (10am-3pm) and Saturday (9am-3pm) while the deli and bakery are open for takeaway Tuesday - Friday (7.30am - 3pm) and Saturday (9am-3pm).
