If you're a fan of seafood you'll want to head west next month. Co Mayo's Knockranny House is offering a two-night experience that will introduce you to some of the best seafood around.
Taking place on 11th and 12th September in the family-owned hotel the package features a boat trip around the beautiful Killary Fjord on the Saturday.

Simon of Killary Fjord Shellfish, who has been growing mussels there since 1989, will be on hand with expert knowledge about the fjord and seafood. Guests will enjoy a seafood lunch cooked right on the shore of the harbour.
Back at the hotel, La Fougère head chef Seamus Commons will serve up a seafood-themed meal, showcasing the best of Irish produce.
