It's been a great year for Aimsir at Cliff at Lyons, which only opened in May of this year, as the restaurant was awarded an unbelievable two stars by the Michelin Guide last month.
Helmed by Jordan Bailey and Majken Bech Bailey, the restaurant opened earlier this year to massive applause and rave reviews from critics and diners alike. This is Irish food like you've never seen it before, with Jordan's kitchen team producing dishes that highlight the very best of our seasons and produce. Out on the floor, Majken makes sure that every guest feels perfectly at home as they settle in for the multi-course experience. A trip to Aimsir isn't just dinner, it's a unique exploration of the Irish larder, celebrating what can be sown and harvested, fished and foraged on our little island.
We named Aimsir Best Restaurant Leinster at the 2019 FOOD AND WINE Awards, in association with Rémy Martin, earlier this year. Then in September, Aimsir became the fastest restaurant in the history of the Michelin Guide Great Britain and Ireland to do to win two Michelin stars.
Since then, tables have been like gold dust and have been unobtainable for the rest of 2019. Luckily, the restaurant announced that they will be taking bookings for January 2020 as of midday tomorrow (Friday, November 1st). If you want to get one of these highly coveted tables, make sure you're online early!
As well as this, the restaurant will also be launching its first-ever overnight packages. Available from €495 for two, this new package includes an overnight stay in the luxurious Lilypond Room at Cliff at Lyons with breakfast in The Orangery, a welcome drink in the stellar Aimsir bar, plus, of course, a tasting menu for two in Aimsir. These exclusive packages will be available to book at midday on Sunday, December 1st.
Open for dinner only from Wednesday to Saturday, this gorgeous restaurant only seats 24 people so tables available as part of this package are extremely limited and we expect they will sell out immediately!
