In these uncertain times, the hospitality industry is suffering unprecedented losses, with around 340,000 people estimated to be out of work by the end of this week due to the pandemic.
To help businesses survive this difficult period, Dublin-based digital food-ordering system Flipdish has announced that it will host an online seminar titled 'Managing your restaurant through coronavirus: a practical guide'. The webinar will give businesses expert advice from Flipdish co-founders Cono and James McCarthy, who deal with thousands of restaurants around the world daily.
Due to the current crisis, thousands of restaurants and takeaways around the world are grappling with the challenges associated with managing their services during a pandemic. The webinar, which is free to join, will focus on offering advice gleaned from the situations in Spain and Italy, plus conflict management advice and a Q&A.

Speaking about the upcoming seminar, co-founder Conor McCarthy told us that the current situation is forcing businesses to adapt.
"The current situation is forcing near-term and mid-term change to both consumer behaviour and restaurant operations. Being able to adapt and change how your business runs over the upcoming few weeks may mean the difference between survival and failure, which is why we have decided to put on this webinar," he said. "We think it will be extremely beneficial to any restaurant who operates a delivery business, or may need to pivot to delivery in these extraordinary times, to take part.”
The Flipdish webinar is free to join, and is being conducted online at 2.30pm GMT on Friday, March 20th 2020. The webinar can be accessed at flipdish.com/webinars.
