Bars and pubs may soon be reopening - and we can't wait - but we suspect there will still be a demand for great cocktails at home.
It just as well, then, that Cask, the multi-award winning cocktail bar in Cork is now making its tasty concoctions available nationwide. It has just launched a range of Casktails, a selection of artisan ready-to-pour bottled cocktails for takeaway and delivery.
The beautifully bottled cocktails are made with seasonal and foraged ingredients, sourced from local producers. They include the orchards at Ballymaloe House, Cork Rooftop Farm, and honey from Coolmore Bees in Carrigaline. Irish spirits and drinks including Dingle Gin, West Cork Distillers, Irish raspberry wine from Wicklow Way Wines and Beamish Irish Stout also feature.

There are seven cocktails in the range, six of which are seasonal twists on classics. There’s the fizzy apple mojito, the raspberry & nettle gimlet, the sorrel margarita, the Beamish boulevardier, the cherry blossom pornstar martini and the Hennessy woodland alexander.
The seventh cocktail, the bartender's choice, will rotate to allow for new seasonal ingredients and will feature guest bars and bartenders from around the world. The inaugural drinks created by Homeboy cocktail bar in London is a twist on the woo woo featuring Connemara Peated Whiskey.
The Casktails are priced at €22 for 350ml and €44 for 750ml. You can order through the Cask website or at the bar itself. Courier delivery is €7 anywhere on the island of Ireland with free delivery for orders over €100, with delivery taking one to two days.
