Taste of Dublin: Festive Edition will take place in the RDS, Dublin next weekend and we have five pairs of tickets to give away!
The Festive Edition of Taste of Dublin, one of Ireland's best-loved summer festivals, will take place in the RDS, Dublin from Thursday, November 28th until Sunday, December 1st. Featuring a whole host of famous Irish food-lovers, like Rachel Allen, Rory O'Connell, Mark Moriarty, Paul Kelly and more, you can expect a weekend full of festive fun.
This winter food festival will also offer masterclasses, demonstrations, live entertainment and much more, including the Taste Chefs' Theatre, festive tablescaping and crafting workshops, spirit, wine and cocktail experiences, butchery workshops and more.
We're also really looking forward to Conor Spacey of FoodSpace Ireland's talk on festive sustainability; the Christmas period generates a massive amount of waste, so we're sure that Conor's guide will help us all work towards a zero-waste holiday.
What To Eat
Similar to the summer version of Taste of Dublin, the Festive Edition will host a range of the country's tastiest restaurant, catering for all diets and tastebuds. Veginity will be offering a taste of vegan fine dining, showcasing how delicious plant-based food can be, while those with a sweet tooth will be pleased to know that Finn Ní Fhaolain's gluten-free bakery Milish will be serving up festive treats and The Cupcake Bloke will be manning his famous mince pie bar.
Flavours from around the world will also be on offer as Hang Dai, Shaka Poké, Lil Portie and more will all be in attendance, alongside cheesemakers like Young Buck and Corleggy, as well as Dublin favourites like Loose Cannon and Grálinn.
As with the festival earlier this year, florins, the classic Taste of Dublin currency, are no longer in use; instead, guests will be able to pay with credit or debit cards only. Dishes will cost just €5 each, while drinks are individually priced.
