With outdoor dining becoming ever more popular, Bray in Co Wicklow has a new option in the form of Shoyu.
The pop up has moved in behind Box Burger, close to Bray DARTS station and is serving up small bites, fresh ramen and Japanese rice beer.
A passion project from the guys behind Bray’s Catalyst Coffee and One14, Shoyu is offering a Japanese-inspired menu.
It includes home-made kimchi toast, miso-glazed cauliflower and sticky shiitake mushroom rice. There’s also pork chasu (barbecued pork) and the vegan-friendly Kinoko ramen is made with shroom broth, shallot oil, tomato chasu and cannellini beans.
The pop up is open from Friday to Saturday (3-10pm) and Sunday (2-8pm). Walk ins are welcome and there are also limited bookings also available via Instagram
