Sweet things
Nutella fans will no doubt be very happy to hear that new Nutella biscuits have landed in Ireland. They were a huge hit when they launched on mainland Europe, selling out in both Italy and France and with a reported one in three Italians eating them! The Nutella-filled biccies are available in a sharing (eh, sharing?) pouch and next month will see the launch of a tube format too (RRP€2.50). The Nutella Biscuit sharing packs are currently available in Dunnes (RRP €3.50) and will be landing in Musgraves and Aldi later in the spring. nutella.com/al/en/ireland
Home comforts
We’re all focused much more on our homes these days (since there’s nowhere else to go at the moment!) and Penneys has just announced a beautiful new homewares collection in natural tones and textures. It features lots of bits for the kitchen including baskets, a chopping board, bowls and jugs. There’s also tableware with everything from napkins and tablecloths to plates and placemats (see main pic). While stores are closed at the moment, under current guidelines they’re due to open on 1 February and the collection will be on sale then. primark.com/en-ie

Dinner to your door
If you happen to live in the vicinity of Dundrum Town Centre in south Dublin, there are plenty of takeaway and delivery food and beverages options on offer during this latest lockdown. You’ll find a full list of available outlets here but they include Indian fare from Ananda, Italian from Zizzi and Asian dishes from Wagamama and Siam Thai. There’s also more casual options from the likes of Five Guys, Eddie Rockets, and KFC, not to mention sweet treats from Crepes in the City and Gino’s Gelato. dundrum.ie
