Congratulations to Ristorante Rinuccini, one of Kilkenny’s best restaurants, which is celebrating its 30th birthday this year!
Rinuccini’s is a beloved local gem where chef proprietor Antonio Cavaliere and his family have been serving guests for 30 successful years. The restaurant takes pride in showcasing classic Italian cuisine made with the finest ingredients from both Ireland and Italy.
To kick off the year of celebrations, an exclusive Barolo Wine Dinner will take place on Tuesday January 29th. Hosted by Enzo Brezza from Azienda Agricola Brezza Giacomo & Figli, this event will be the first in a series taking place throughout the year to mark the Kilkenny’s first and most successful fine dining Italian restaurant’s 30 years in business
An eight-course menu of typically Piedmontese dishes will be prepared by Rinuccini’s Executive Chef, Antonio Cavaliere, to complement the wines from Enzo’s award-winning winery. The estate's wine portfolio is dominated by its DOCG-classified Barolo wines and in 2018, the family vineyard received organic certification for its wine-making methods.
The menu will showcase the best of the Piedmontese region, with dishes including seared carpaccio of fillet of Kilkenny Rosé Veal with marinated fresh tuna and aioli served with Chardonnay Langhe DOC and hand cut organic fresh pasta with wild boar ragu served with Dolcetto D’Alba DOC. Throughout the meal, Enzo Brezza will guide guests through the wines from his vineyard, discussing the reasons behind each pairing and the wines’ terroir.
This exclusive Barolo Wine Dinner will take place on Tuesday 29th January at 7pm and is priced at €80 per person. For more information or to book, click here.
