It’s been two decades since a fresh-faced Oliver first hit our screens with his cheery charm and accessible cooking style. Following his accidental discovery - he was spotted in the background of a 1997 documentary on The River Cafe - Oliver arrived with a bang with his breakout show, The Naked Chef in 1999.

Since then he has seen his career soar, encompassing everything from books, kitchen utensils and personal appearances to TV shows and the ill-fated restaurant chain, not to mention his passionate campaigning to improve school dinners. However, along with the successes have come some significant lows - including the recent loss of his much-loved restaurant empire.

As yet, there’s no date for when the documentary will air but it promises to be an interesting insight into one of the biggest names in food.
