This heatwave has us searching for new ways to cool down in the sun, and with the weather this hot not even regular chilled prosecco cuts it - so we've moved onto frozen tipples.

Frosecco is the latest creation to come from the (wonderful!) frosé trend that hits the US each summer, and now we can finally join in. 

What's frosecco? Basically, exactly what it sounds like: frozen prosecco. 

Ruffino Wines have a lovely recipe for a sparkling pink slushy that we'll be sipping all summer long:

5 parts Sparkling Rosé or Prosecco 

¾ parts lemon juice

1 part simple syrup

5-6 raspberries

1 cup ice

Method

Blend all ingredients in a blender. Pour into a coupe and garnish with a fresh raspberry skewer!
