Support Irish businesses and #ShopForIreland today

Three ways to enjoy great food this week.

SHARE

Even though we're all still practising social distancing and most of us are working from home, we still want to help support Irish food and drink producers.

We've decided to help our readers #ShopForIreland so we'll be posting every day to highlight producers around Ireland. Get in touch on our social channels with your suggestions on who we should write about.

Casper & Giumbini's at home

This Dún Laoghaire restaurant is open Wednesday to Sunday from 10am with coffee, pastries and sausage rolls on offer for those passing by during their 2km walk. Casper & Giumbini's has also developed a great takeaway menu for customers to enjoy at home during the pandemic. The new takeaway menu has three options available: a Sunday roast to-go of côte de boeuf or roast chicken for two or four people from €25, barbecue steak packs with two sides starting at €28, and ready meals like beef bourguignon, spaghetti with pork meatballs and more from €16. As a bonus, the team are offering 50 per cent off their favourite wines if you order a bottle alongside food. For more info, click here

Greenes and Cask at home

Two of Cork's best spots have teamed up to offer a great takeaway menu starting this week. The new click and collect menu will kick off on April 30th, with dishes including Young Buck cheese salad and featherblade of beef, plus options for vegans and vegetarians, with prices starting at €30 for two. To expand the experience, you can add an antipasti platter, cheeseboard and panna cotta for an extra cost. If you fancy something to drink, three of Cask's gorgeous cocktails are available to order too. Click here for more info.
