We want you to #ShopForIreland today

We're doing what we can to help local Irish businesses.

SHARE

Even though we're all still practising social distancing and most of us are working from home, we still want to help support Irish food and drink producers.

We've decided to help our readers #ShopForIreland so we'll be posting every day to highlight producers around Ireland. Get in touch on our social channels with your suggestions on who we should write about.

Your daily Bread 41

Free sourdough-making kits are on offer in Dublin – but keep your physical distance. One of the capital’s best bakeries, Bread 41 on Pearse Street, is trying to bring a little cheer into our lives by giving away up to 50 sourdough-making kits every day from now until the end of April.

The kits contain everything you need to make your own bread - a sourdough starter and flour, along with instructionsDemand is high, but any queues are being actively managed to ensure physical distance.

Check out Bread 41’s video on how to make your sourdough at https://youtu.be/PkfQHIXeatU, and see the website, breadnation.ie, to pre-order and pay for bread, pastries, quiches and sausage rolls for next day collection.

The Lismore Food Company

The Waterford-based luxury biscuit company is offering 20 per cent off all online orders at thelismorefoodcompany.com using the code SPRING20. The team behind The Lismore Food Company create their goods following the artisan tradition started by their family in the 1800s. The sweet and savoury biscuits are all delicious, but we highly recommend the dark chocolate and apple sticks.
