How to #ShopForIreland and support Irish food businesses today

We're doing what we can to support Irish businesses.

SHARE

Even though we're all still practising social distancing and most of us are working from home, we still want to help support Irish food and drink producers.

We've decided to help our readers #ShopForIreland so we'll be posting every day to highlight producers around Ireland. Get in touch on our social channels with your suggestions on who we should write about.

Mister S

Mister S on Camden Street, which is one of our favourite restaurants in Dublin, closed at the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic but announced on Instagram over the weekend that it would be back in action this week with a collection-only menu. Offering a three-course menu for €22 per person, Mister S will only take 15 orders per night in order to ensure the safety of staff and customers. Available from 5pm Tuesday to Saturday, main courses include beef short rib and smoked pork belly rib, so if you want to try this new menu, head to www.misters.ie/ for more info.

From Tuesday @foodforthought__17 we will be back to his beloved grill and cooking for collection. It’s been a tough period and we’d love your support. We will be doing a 3 course option for €22 with mains of beef short rib and pork belly rib smoked fresh every day. To ensure the safety of our staff and customers we will only be taking 15 orders a night and orders will be processed directly through our website. There will be no need for any contact and we have staggered orders to ensure no queues or wait times. We’ve done everything we can think of to ensure we can get back to some sort of work while not making the situation worse. If you are sick of cooking / can’t smoke meat ... head to our website to order any day from Tuesday to Saturday. To see full menu / how to order (very easy) see our stories. Thanks and keep safe XX

St Tola Irish Goat Cheese

If you're in the market for some delicious cheese, we recommend that you order from St Tola's online store. Based in Clare, this company creates some of the country's best cheese. The entire range is on offer online, but we're especially excited by the Clare box, which includes a range of different cheeses from the area, as well as Sheridans crackers, for just €25 including delivery. The team are selling their cheese at a discounted rate in order to stay afloat during these difficult times, so make sure to show them your support. Order now here.
