Monday's #ShopForIreland guide

Three ways to support Irish businesses today.

Even though we're all still practising social distancing and most of us are working from home, we still want to help support Irish food and drink producers.

We've decided to help our readers #ShopForIreland so we'll be posting every day to highlight producers around Ireland. Get in touch on our social channels with your suggestions on who we should write about.

L. Mulligan Grocer

L. Mulligan Grocer is back in action with a great stay at home offering available from its website. Featuring cheeseboards, charcuterie selections, cocktail kits, gin hampers and more, the Manor Street location is open for collection from 12pm-5pm on Saturdays with strict sanitisation and social distancing measures in place. Orders are now open, so click here to see what's on offer.

Bresson at home

Bresson in Monkstown is back open again for takeaway, much to the delight of locals, offering a menu packed with the restaurant's classic dishes. The menu includes lots of quintessential French dishes like duck confit, daube of boeuf bourguignon and more, with two courses costing just €24.50 or you can order three courses for €29.50 per person. Fully contactless collection is available, but the Bresson team are offering local delivery for residents that are cocooning. Click here for more info.

Mamó in Howth, which only opened last year, immediately switched to takeaway as soon as the pandemic caused restaurants to close. Their takeaway service, which features the famous Mamó cod chip, was instantly successful thanks to supportive locals. As well, as takeaway, Mamó has been offering community meals, which are complimentary for frontline workers and change frequently.

On top of all of this good work, Mamó has now released its Lunch Hamper, which costs €22 per person. The delivery area includes most of north Dublin and the hampers are delivered between 8am and 12pm on Saturdays and Sundays, just in time for your weekend lunch. The hamper menu will change weekly, but you can expect to see lots of great Irish produce packed with flavour - plus, you can add on wine for an extra cost. Click here for more info.
