It's #ShopForIreland time again

How to get delicious Irish food straight to your door.

SHARE

Even though we're all still practising social distancing and most of us are working from home, we still want to help support Irish food and drink producers.

We've decided to help our readers #ShopForIreland so we'll be posting every day to highlight producers around Ireland. Get in touch on our social channels with your suggestions on who we should write about.

Le Patissier

Have you seen lots of gorgeous pastries all over your Twitter timeline lately? Well, you can thank Robert Bullock and the team at Dublin-based pastry company Le Patissier for these picture-perfect treats. Originally, this Blás na hÉireann award-winning company mostly sold its products to hotels, businesses and stores all over Dublin, but as most are now closed, business dried up. Now, Le Patissier is selling its wares to the general public, offering delivery within Dublin or collection from its Dublin 15 base, but you'll have to be quick to get your hands on these pastries - this week's delivery slots sold out extremely quickly, but the online store will reopen on Saturday, May 9th. Prices start from €20 and to see what's available from Le Patissier, click here

Shells Café, Sligo

Local favourite Shells Café has adapted really well to the current crisis, offering a brunch bag that changes weekly and can be picked up at its little brother location, Baker Boys Café in Strandhill. Shells Café's online store is jam-packed with lots of goods available for purchase, including coffee, tea, artisan chocolate and gift vouchers, but we're most excited about their treat box. Each box costs €50 (including shipping) and includes brownies, fudge, coffee, brown bread, jam, granola and a jar of White Mausu peanut rayu or cashew crunch. Orders are posted each week on Thursday, so you can expect your box to arrive on Friday. Click here for more info.

Frank's

Camden Street wine bar Frank’s has launched a pick-up and delivery service, with a selection of cases including Frank's favourites (six bottles, €125), a mixed case of six organic or biodynamic including red, white and orange (€140), a seasonal case (€105) containing six spring worthy wines, and the cosy reds selection, yours to enjoy this bank holiday weekend for €130. Also available is a set of two Frank's branded wine glasses (€25) or a gift hamper containing two wine glasses in a custom box and one bottle of Drac Magic Catalunya (€45), in case you know anyone with a birthday coming up.
