Even though we're all still practising social distancing and most of us are working from home, we still want to help support Irish food and drink producers.
We've decided to help our readers #ShopForIreland so we'll be posting every day to highlight producers around Ireland. Get in touch on our social channels with your suggestions on who we should write about.
Avoca
Avoca has announced that its stores in Kilmacanogue, Rathcoole and Dunboyne are launching delivery and personal shopping collection services to help the elderly and those at risk of infection. A specially designated order and collection will be set up outside each shop where staff can retrieve customers' shopping lists. While staff gather each customers' order, they can enjoy tea or coffee while waiting in their cars. It is advised that customers pre-pay for this service, but remote contactless payment can be conducted on-site.
Avoca is also offering a delivery service with a 10km radius of its Kilmacanogue, Dunboyne and Rathcoole stores to ensure that locals can access essentials as well as Avoca favourites like fish pie and roulade. Click here to see what's available to pre-order.
