Even though we're all still practising social distancing and most of us are working from home, we still want to help support Irish food and drink producers. 

We've decided to help our readers #ShopForIreland so we'll be posting every day to highlight producers around Ireland. Get in touch on our social channels with your suggestions on who we should write about.

Old Street 

Old Street in Dublin is now offering a takeaway service with lots of delicious dishes available for purchase. As well as two different barbecue boxes, which you prepare yourself at home, there is a massive menu available to order, including charcuterie, spatchcock chicken and a kids' menu, as well a roast dinner that is only up for grabs on Sundays. There is also a massive range of wines and cocktails up for grabs with a 50 per cent discount on Old Street's rare wines reserve. 

To order, you need to call ahead so that the Old Street team can give you an allocated time slot for collection. All orders are prepaid over the phone, with phone lines open from 2pm on Thursday to Saturday and from 12pm on Sundays. Click here for more info.

Ananda at home

One of Ireland's best Indian restaurants is back open with a specially curated dine at home menu created by award-winning chef Karan Mittal. Available for collection only, Ananda is open for collection from 3.30pm daily, except for Tuesdays. The menu includes favourites like tandoori chicken, butter chicken, Peshwari naan and more, along with desserts and a children's menu. A tasting menu is also available to order for a special opening price of €50.

This classic dish is always on the menu in our restaurant but is a brilliant dish to try at home. Try our recipe and if you have any questions, just comment below, and please share photos of your homemade chicken tikka! @chefkaran.m . . TANDOORI CHICKEN TIKKA Ingredients: 400g chicken thighs 1 tsp chaat masala . 1st marinade . 40g ginger garlic paste Juice of 1 lime Salt, to taste 1 tsp red chilli powder ½ tsp dried fenugreek powder . 2nd marinade . 80g Greek or hung yoghurt ½ tsp Garam Masala ½ tsp toasted cumin powder . Preparation: Oven temp: 200°C, 400°F, Gas mark 6 . . 1. Clean the chicken thighs and remove any extra fat. Cut the thighs in to small pieces. 2. Make the first marinade by mixing all of the listed ingredients in a bowl. Add the chicken thighs and coat well. 3. Leave to marinade for at least an hour. 4. When ready, remove the chicken pieces and allow the excess juices to drain. 5. Next mix the chicken pieces with the ingredients for the 2nd marinade and keep aside for at least 2-3 hours, overnight preferably. 6. When ready to cook, skewer the chicken and cook in a very hot oven for about 20 minutes. Then remove the chicken skewers, baste with melted butter and oil and return to the oven to cook for a further five minutes or until tender. 7. When the chicken is cooked, remove from the oven and brush with some melted butter and chaat masala before serving. Enjoy with mint chutney (recipe on website). . . Variation: You can apply the same marination for making tandoori broccoli, peppers, cauliflower and onion as well. Butler & Barry takeaway service 

Bray gastropub Butler & Barry is now offering a takeaway service from its seafront location. Available from 5pm, available dishes include favourites like buttermilk chicken, jackfruit wings and much more, as well as bottles of the pub's gorgeous cocktails. To order, customers can head to the Butler & Barry website and submit a click and collect order, or call the team on 01 286 5413.

This new takeaway service is available alongside the pub's pop-up with The Rolling Donut - the downstairs area is open daily with takeaway coffees and fresh treats from The Rolling Donut available for purchase. For more information or to order, click here
