Even though we're all still practising social distancing and most of us are working from home, we still want to help support Irish food and drink producers.
We've decided to help our readers #ShopForIreland so we'll be posting every day to highlight producers around Ireland. Get in touch on our social channels with your suggestions on who we should write about.

Ahmet Dede, formerly of Michelin-starred restaurant Mews, was set to open his own Turkish-inspired restaurant in Baltimore this spring but due to the ongoing pandemic, he had to press pause on his new venture. Luckily for the people of Cork, Ahmet has pivoted his concept to offer a takeaway menu for €25. Vegetarian, gluten-free and nut-free diets are all catered for with dishes including Walsh's butchers six-week aged beef, barbecued cabbage with shiitake mushrooms and more. You can also add on an Irish cheeseboard, pickled shiitake mushrooms or homemade bread for an extra cost. For more info about Ahmet's takeaway, head to his Instagram page.
