Whiskey Live Dublin

Dublin Castle, November 22nd and 23rd

Over 60 producers will be on site at Dublin Castle this weekend to take part in masterclasses, tastings and more as part of the ninth annual Whiskey Live Dublin. Guests will get to try the latest Irish whiskies, as well as better known Irish whiskey brand and bottles from around the globe, while the Whiskey Live Dublin Charity Bottling will see a special whiskey bottled and sold in aid of Down Syndrome Ireland.

Tickets cost €44 and can be booked here or purchased from the Celtic Whiskey Shop on Dawson Street. At least €10 from every ticket sold will be donated to Down Syndrome Ireland along with the money raised from a raffle and the charity whiskey bottles.

It's A Wild Game Celebration 

Knockranny House Hotel, November 22nd and 23rd

This weekend, Knockranny House Hotel will host a celebration of Irish game in partnership with Euro-Toques and Taste The Island. Chef Seamus Commons of La Fougère at Knockranny House Hotel and Spa will showcase his creativity through dishes made with rabbit, hare, wild duck, venison, teal, mallard, partridge, pheasant and more – all of which will come from local producers or which will be shot, trapped or caught by Seamus himself. 

From €229 per person sharing, guests can enjoy two nights bed and breakfast, a game stew dinner on Friday night, plus a five-course game tasting dinner with wine pairings at the award-winning La Fougère restaurant. For more info, click here

Cork Chocolate And Baking Weekend

Friday, November 22nd-24th

Cork Baking and Chocolate Weekend will take place in the Rebel county this weekend. While there will be lots of cocoa-themed events taking place, some of our favourites include the Great Cork Bake Off, a beer and chocolate masterclass, a demo marquee and more. Spanish Wine Dinner At The Mustard Seed

Thursday, November 21st

Award-winning restaurant The Mustard Seed will celebrate gorgeous Spanish wines this Thursday during a special dining experience in collaboration with Taste of Dublin and Mastercard. The six-course tasting menu created by head chef Angel Pirev will celebrate Spanish flavours and each course will be paired with a wine from a variety different vineyards. Wine expert Leslie Williams will be on site to introduce each tipple as well as answer any and all questions that guests may have.
