BuJo and Sadie's Kitchen team up to offer a lighter lunch

BuJo, one of Dublin's most sustainable restaurants, has teamed up with bone broth company Sadie's Kitchen to offer a brand new lunchtime option to cater to those looking for a lighter bite. 

The BroJo bowls, which are made with Sadie's Kitchen bone broth, are jam-packed with nutritious ingredients, like smoked chicken breast, raw veggies and a chilli and ginger infusion.

Each purchase comes with a free Java Republic Blue Earth organic fairtrade coffee, so we think this new lunch option is perfect to chase away the January chill! BroJo Bowls are available from January 7th in BuJo, Sandymount, Dublin 4.

Plant-based eating 101 with Greg Xavier

Thursday, January 9th at 7pm at KALE+COCO, 18 Grangegorman Lower

This Thursday, Greg Xavier of plantbased.ie will host an introductory evening at KALE+COCO for those attempting a vegan diet this January. It can be difficult to adopt a completely plant-based diet, so Greg's tips and tricks are sure to help you adjust to the transition. Tickets cost €10.69 per person and can be purchased here.

Join us for an informational evening at KALE+COCO featuring a talk by @gregxavier_ all about plant-based eating and where to begin on your plant-based journey. This is the perfect introductory evening for anyone trying out "Veganuary" this year or just curious about a plant-based diet! • Greg is the owner of PlantBased.ie and most recently was a guide on RTE2's new series "My Yellow Brick Road". He initially explored the diet to cure some chronic health problems and has experimented with multiple versions of the plant-based diet, from high-carb cooked to gourmet raw and fruitarianism. He trained as a raw-foods chef and completed a certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition from the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies. Murder Mystery Christmas Dinner

Friday, January 10th at 7pm, Rock Farm Slane, Meath

Christmas may be over, but that doesn't mean you can't still celebrate. Rock Farm Slane, an ecotourism farm complete with gorgeous glamping facilities, will host a New York in the 80s-themed murder mystery dinner this Friday. The premise is that you have been invited to the Christmas party of a wealthy businessman, so expect fun and frolics on the night.

Rock Farm Slane grows most of its own produce, as well as sourcing anything else needed from within the Boyne Valley, so this three-course meal will certainly be tasty. Tickets cost €74 per person and can be booked here
