PROPERCHIPS launch in Ireland
We're always on the hunt for new snack foods to add to our desk drawers, so we were delighted to hear that PROPERCORN, the flavoursome popcorn brand, recently launched PROPERCHIPS. These lentil-based crisps are available in four flavours – sour cream and chive, barbecue, sweet sriracha chilli, and sea salt – and are completely vegan and gluten-free. Retailing for around €1.10-€2.69 RRP, look out for these new chips in SuperValu, Spar and other retailers nationwide.
Balfes launches new BodyByrne Skin Deep Protein Smoothie range
Balfes at The Westbury Hotel in Dublin has teamed up with BodyByrne Fitness to create a new range of smoothies packed with a specially formulated type of protein. Perfect for fitness devotees, these smoothies contain collagen, vitamins D and E, and magnesium to help with post-workout recovery. There are three varieties to choose from – berry, wake up cup and wellness –plus Balfes has also introduced new vegan and vegetarian menus, plus extra additions to its regular breakfast menu. Italian wine night at Castleknock Hotel

Wine producer Elena Bruner Perlage is set to host two gorgeous wine events at Castleknock Hotel this week. First up is an afternoon tea where Elena will talk you through a selection of the finest Italian Proseccos while you enjoy an array of sweet and savoury treats. That evening, Elena will host a six-course dinner with matching wines, showcasing some of the best wines that Italy has to offer.
