Looking for something to do this week? We have a few ideas for you.

Read on to find out about events taking place around the country this week, new menus, festivals, news and more.

The Source Bulk Foods Store To Open In Rathmines

We're all about zero-waste, eco-friendly living here at FOOD AND WINE, so we're excited to see that The Source Bulk Foods will be opening its first Irish store in Rathmines this Wednesday, December 11th.

The Source Bulk Foods will offer customers a package-free shopping experience: customers can use their own reusable containers from home, buy glass jars sold in-store or use recyclable brown paper bags to bag up their produce. We love this idea and hope to see many more zero-waste stores opening up around the country, so make sure you show The Source Bulk Foods at 39/40 Castlewood Avenue, Rathmines, Dublin 6 some support this week.

Winter Wonderland At Massimo

Massimo, one of Galway's coolest pubs, recently launched their Winter Wonderland for December, which will see the bar host a range of cool events, including their annual small business party, a Christmas music table quiz, a tablescaping workshop and more.

To go along with this calendar of events, the team have created an exciting menu of festive drinks, including the Terry's Irish Coffee, the Brandy Snap, the Kandy Kane and much more. If you're out and about in Galway this month, there's definitely something happening at Massimo to help boost your holiday spirit. Check out the full list of events here.

With every pint of Guinness bought in each selected pub, customers will be given a special postcard featuring an image of the iconic television ad. Customers can fill in their postcard with festive wishes, before posting it in the special An Post postbox. For each postcard sent, Guinness will make a donation to ALONE to ensure that older people are not isolated or lonely this Christmas. For more info about ALONE's work, click here.
