It has long been an essential event on the food and drinks lover’s calendar so we’re delighted to report that Taste of Dublin is back for 2021.

Now in its 15th year, Taste has always been a celebration of Irish ingredients, food and producers, and this year is set to be the best yet. The event is running for five days, as opposed to the usual three, to ensure comfort and safety. And while there is reduced capacity there are more sessions available to ensure that no one misses out.

This year the theme is 'Savour the Moment' and there is a packed schedule of events and entertainment, all taking place in the beautiful Iveagh Gardens on Harcourt Street from September 1-5.

Nine of Dublin’s top food offerings, including Pickle, The Salty Buoy by Niall Sabongi, Bites by Kwanghi, The Port House, and King Sitric, will be showcasing their signature dishes across the festival. Plus, as always, there will be plenty of inspiring talks and masterclasses on the Food for Thought stage with top chefs, food writers, and producers taking part.

This year’s chef lineup features the likes of Jordan Bailey of two-starred Aimsir and JP McMahon of Aniar, Galway, along with Taste stalwarts Rachel Allen, Kevin Dundon, Aoife Noonan and many more.

For the first time, there will also be exciting art and entertainment elements to Taste too as Culture Vultures, The Laughter Lounge and The Gaiety School of Acting will be bringing bite-size half-hour performances, comedy, and theatre shows to the festival.

There will also be the chance to check out great Irish fare from producers including Hot Chip Dublin, The Cupcake Bloke, Ballymaloe Foods and Glowberry, not to mention lots of Schweppes cocktails. Plus, if you upgrade to a VIP ticket, you'll be able to enjoy fast-track entry to the festival and a spot in the Fercullen Irish Whiskey VIP Garden, where there will be cocktails and masterclasses to enjoy.

Taste of Dublin 2021 returns to the Iveagh Gardens from September 1-5 2021. Over five incredible days, visitors can enjoy Ireland’s latest, greatest, and hottest restaurants, mingle with homegrown chefs, indulge in gourmet produce, or simply relax and enjoy being outdoors in the city with friends.
