On Tuesday, November 19th, we held our first #CheeseYourWay event with the National Dairy Council and we have all the gorgeous pictures from the night.
We have a soft spot for cheese so we decided to team up with the National Dairy Council (NDC) for a bespoke cheese and gin tasting evening, which took place at House, Leeson Street, Dublin 2 on Tuesday, November 19th.
On the night, guests were treated to a gorgeous welcome drink of apple juice and mint from Sheridans Cheesemongers, before trying a delicious array of cheeses from the cheesemongers, including Young Buck raw cow's milk cheese, Cais na Tire sheep's milk cheese, St. Tola raw goat's milk cheese and Derg Cheddar made from raw cow's milk.
The cheeses were paired with a selection of gins, kindly supplied by Bonac Irish Gin. First up Gavin Clifford served up Bonac Irish Gin Original with Fevertree Classic Tonic, mint and lime, before treating guests to the brand's newest product, Bonac Irish Gin Wicklow Rose & Raspberry, served with Fevertree Natural Light Tonic, raspberry and juniper.
Throughout the event, which was hosted by Dee Laffan, Dominique Dorman and Quentin Duboz from Sheridans Cheesemongers guided guests through the tasting experience and answered all of our cheesy questions.
At the end of the evening, guests headed home with a gorgeous goodie bag packed with a Sheridans Cheesemongers gift pack and an exclusive FOOD AND WINE wooden cheeseboard from Caulfield Country Boards.
